SMITH AND SONS UNVEILS PACKED PROPERTY AUCTION CATALOGUE

Auctioneers, Smith and Sons, has released its latest auction catalogue ahead of the 25th February 2026 online property auction, offering a strong selection of 29 prime lots across residential, commercial and investment sectors.

The upcoming auction presents a broad range of opportunities for investors, developers, landlords and owner-occupiers alike, with properties located throughout the Merseyside area, including Wirral, Wallasey, Liverpool and surrounding neighbourhoods.

Highlights of the catalogue include refurbished family homes, investment properties with long-term tenants in-situ, vacant houses ideal for redevelopment and commercial buildings with strong future potential.

Standout lots include two large and spacious semi-detached properties in idyllic Willaston, both of which are primed and ready for owner occupation presenting perfect family homes.

A substantial detached double-fronted property on Dingle Road in Birkenhead has been skilfully extended and converted to comprise three self-contained flats. Offering strong future rental income, the property is guided at £130,000 - £140,000.

16 Forest Road in Meols currently includes seven self-contained offices. With planning in place for conversion back to a single dwelling, the property is guided at £225,000 - £250,000. 13 Village Road in Bebington offers separate accesses to both ground and first floor allowing easy conversion to separate commercial and residential spaces, presenting great value against a guide of £120,000 - £140,000.

Commenting on the catalogue launch, Annette Shelley at Smith and Sons commented: “This latest auction marks another strong offering in our 2026 calendar, with a wide range of properties that will appeal to both experienced investors and those looking to secure their first auction purchase. With realistic guides and significant scope for further value, we expect strong engagement from across the property market, both locally and further afield.”

The auction will be conducted online, with bidding via Smith and Sons’ auction platform.

Annette added: “Viewings are already underway and I’d encourage anyone who’s interested to get in touch and make arrangements to visit the property. We do anticipate strong levels of interest due to the scope of the catalogue and attractive guides.”
