SMITH AND SONS REVEAL SPRING PROPERTY CATALOGUE

Smith and Sons has launched its Spring Auction catalogue, comprising a varied mix of lots, ranging from terraced investment properties to development land, commercial properties and semi-detached owner occupier homes.

The online auction is taking place on the 14th May and viewings are already underway.

There are a number of terraced properties available, ideal as part of a wider portfolio and each offering strong rental yields, largely in Birkenhead. Similarly, the auction includes several semi-detached houses, in need of upgrade and modernisation, with potential to sell on at profit or retain and lease.

Historic lots include an apartment within a Grade II listed building on Hamilton Square, guided at only £20,000 - £30,000, as well as Lord Derby’s former hunting lodge, a large 8-bed property on Eaton Road in Bootle, dating back to the 18th century.

Commercial buildings with adjoining residential space are available in West Kirby, Wallasey and Upton, each guided at realistic and attractive reserves.

Chris Johnson, Auctioneer at Smith and Sons commented: “This is a strong catalogue with some real gems included. There is significant opportunity to realise some good returns on many of the properties featured as well as high rental yields, capitalising on the booming rental market.

“Viewings are underway and we would advise anyone interested in any of the lots to contact our team for further information or to arrange a visit within this window of opportunity.”
