SMITH AND SONS COMPLETE SALE OF COTTON HOUSE TO INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT PROVIDER

Smith and Sons has completed the sale of Cotton Place in Birkenhead to a global transport provider, as part of the firms continued growth and expansion programme.

The new owners are consolidating its offices into a single site. Cotton Place sits on Ivy Street in Monks Ferry, Birkenhead, a purpose built 8,500 sq. ft building arranged over two floors and with 30 parking spaces.

Cotton Place is set close to the commercial centre of Birkenhead, on the waterfront, amongst developments including Portside, Abbots Quay and Priory Mews, and sitting alongside the wider Wirral Waters transformation.

Tom Carew of Smith and Sons commented: “Cotton Place is an impressive building that will make a fantastic regional headquarters for a growing business. This modern purpose built building offers everything a business could ask for and is ready for its new owner-occupier to put their individual stamp on it and begin to make it their own.

“The location is very central and is at the heart of lots of current exciting developments. It's great to see another leading enterprise choose Wirral as its head office, and we’re pleased to be able to support this significant move.”
