Another varied property auction catalogue offered at the Village Hotel on 26th April attracted a good level of interest generating sales of over £1.3m. 

18 lots sold and once again houses in need of refurbishment proved extremely popular with investors and builders. 

A semi detached house in Woolton sold for £197,000 against a guide of £180,000 and a four storey period property in Devonshire Road in Birkenhead realised £158,000 against a guide of £130,000. 

A residential investment in three flats guided at £89,000 sold for £107,000 and we were delighted to see a number of out of area investors viewing the properties and attending the sale indicating that the yields available on the Wirral outweigh those available in many other parts of the country. 

Sales on further properties are expected over the course of the next few weeks further raising the total level of sales.
